Our Redman Bread Flour is halal-certified and a product of Singapore, packed in a ISO22000 certified facility. Bread flour, also known as strong flour, contains a higher amount of protein (12.8%-13.8%) as compared to all-purpose flour, which results in a chewy and airy texture when baked. It often replaces all-purpose flour as the main ingredient in baking. It is, however, important to note that it can only be used specifically for the baking of breads or buns.
How to use
Bread flour is recommended for bread recipes only. Some examples include banana bread, pandan flavoured bread and sourdough bread.
